Summer is a great time to refresh your home design, including your bathroom. And one of the summer’s biggest bathroom design trends is a true classic — neutral decor.
So, how can you incorporate neutrals into your bathroom design in a way that feels bold and on-trend, and not (no offense neutrals!) boring?
A recent article from realtor.com outlined trending ways to add neutrals to your bathroom, including:
- Add an olive vanity. Neutrals aren’t just brown, black, beige, cream, and white. Olive is a more unexpected neutral tone that can add interest to your bathroom. While there are lots of ways to add olive tones, for a real impact, try installing an olive vanity to act as the focal point of your space.
- Add a wooden mirror. Wood is not only a neutral, but a natural texture that works great in any room of the home, including the bathroom. In addition to the standard wood bathroom accents like shelving, consider adding a wood-toned mirror for added interest.
- Fabric wallpaper. If you really want to ensure that your neutral bathroom doesn’t feel boring, consider wallpapering the room in a neutral wallpaper that has an interesting detail for added visual impact, like a pattern or texture.
