Fall is right around the corner, and with the new season comes new design trends.
But what, exactly, are the hot design trends for the upcoming fall season?
A recent article from realtor.com highlighted some of the biggest interior design trends experts have chosen for fall 2024, including:
- Wood everywhere. Wood paneling is a major trend for this fall, and it’s especially trendy when you pair it with other wood pieces for an all-over wood effect. While this trend will work in a variety of rooms, expect it to be particularly popular in the kitchen.
- Buttery yellow. Yellow can sometimes feel like a jarring color. But this fall, a paler, more mellow shade of yellow — known as butter yellow — is poised to be one of the hottest colors in interior design.
- Stripes. Stripes are making a comeback. While stripes can be a bold choice, they’re also surprisingly versatile. Consider incorporating a striped sofa or armchair into your living room, or, if you want to maximize your impact, you might even do a striped accent wall in the living or dining room.
